Company History
Zero-G Limited was founded in 1990, trading under the name Time+Space. During the early 1990's Zero-G (as Time+Space) rapidly became the largest distributor of soundware in the UK and one of the most critically acclaimed sound developers in the world.
As such, it gained a reputation for providing a goldmine of musical inspiration, a place where recording artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, DJs, recording studios, and sound designers all over the world can find all the sound material they need, in one place, to create demos, records, remixes, commercials, jingles, post productions, sound tracks for film, theatre, musicals, live performance, computer games and multimedia productions.
In early 1997 Zero-G decided to split its operations into two separate companies by creating a new offshoot company (Time+Space Distribution Ltd) which would then be able to concentrate exclusively on the quality UK distribution of world-wide sourced third-party products, without distractions or conflict of interests, thereby leaving Zero-G Limited to concentrate purely on quality sound design, publishing, and management of the Zero-G brand. The sound design company continues to expand while of course retaining a close relationship with the highly successful UK distribution company Time+Space.
Today, Zero-G is still a privately owned company, and an industry leader in the field of Soundware Development. The extensive product line published by Zero-G covers a huge variety of styles and provides Soundware in file formats that include ABLETON, APPLE LOOPS, ACID, AIFF, AKAI, KONTAKT, EXS24, GIGA, HALion, REX, REASON REFILL, REASON NN-XT, STYLUS RMX, and WAV. The company works closely with a roster of over 100 professional independent music producers and releases many new sample collections each year.
